§ 1 - Meeting 

  • Work starts at 09:05 in our group room at the LATEST when working in-person.
  • Status meetings every x and x. Don’t make personal plans for these days if you can avoid it.*
  • Plan meetings w/ counselor for one of these days*
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday are attendance optional, but welcome. *
  • Weekends are weekends (unless shit is burning, and we need to put it out). 
  • No incredibly stinky food.

§ 2 - Illness & absence

  • A study life balance is important, so occasional personal days are fine with a good reason.
  • Give notice as soon as possible - if you’re sick, stay home and get better. 
  • If you’re sick, you might be given tasks to make sure we stay on schedule. Tell the group if you’re too sick to handle tasks.

§ 3 - Meetings and planning

  • Concrete deadlines for larger milestones
  • Use GitHub to keep track of progress

§ 4 - Communication Discord 

  • Used for communicating.
  • Used for plan coordination and events.

  • All project writing goes here. 

§ 5 - Writing Standard: LaTeX Language: English

  • No mention of “we” or “us”
  • No contractions (it is instead of it’s)

§ 6 - Responsibilities

§ 7 - Disagreements

  • Group members are expected to give and be open to receive constructive criticism
  • If a disagreement can not be resolved between two group members, the people in question should involve the appointed managers and try to work out a solution. If this fails, the group votes on a solution as a whole. If anybody has a problem please say it IMMEDIATELY.

§ 8 - Conflict management 

  • Should personal conflicts arise, group members are expected to put them to the side and work professionally together.
  • The group can also act as a support network, should the need arise.

§ 9 - Ambition level

  • All members are expected to complete their assigned tasks by the agreed upon deadlines, barring illness or exceptional circumstances. Let the group know as far in advance as you can if you can not complete a task. 

  • Members are expected to follow the other courses on the semester, to ensure the group has similar knowledge in these regards. How they learn curriculum is up to each member, so long as they learn it. 

§ 10 - Learning 

  • Remember to ask the group for help if you struggle with a piece of curriculum. 

  • When a group member struggles with learning a certain issue, the other members of the group should help to accommodate their learning style and tackle the issue from another angle.

§ 11 Team culture

  • Respect for each other’s values
  • Trust and openness, one should feel free to share their issues
  • Room for fun while still getting work done
